"Have I seen a water alien?"
30.07.2008
Dear Aunties,
I was walking my pet dog Loganberry out on the marsh the other day and I came across a small green-headed creature with only 2 legs and a funny protruding yellow mouth. Schoolchildren seemed to be throwing bread at it. I have never seen anything like it in all my life! I only know I didn't imagine it because Loganberry tried to mate with it and a feathery tussle ensued.
What was this beast and what could it mean?

Dear Phalice Cupcake,
It sounds like you spotted an injured, jealous duck-billed platypus what has had feathers superglued to it by rotters. When pondering the question "Who would do such a thing?" I suggest you look no further than the schoolchildren who are clearly sadistic yet misguided - most forms of bread are soft and will not damage this Australian semi-aquatic mammal.
Alternatively it could be a creature from another planet. Wait and see if aliens pop out of Loganberry's belly and if not, assume you're in Australia.
