Should I date known killer?

I have accidentally agreed to date a known murderer. The whole town knows that "T" brutally attacked and killed a local school girl, but the police have been unable to prove it.

When "T" asked if I'd like to go for a midnight forest stroll with him, I didn't want to embarrass him in front of his thug friends., and so gave him my number.

Now I am starting to have reservations about the date but I am a girl of my word and don't want to mess anybody around.

What do you think I should do?
