Puzzled and holey

Dear Aunties,

I've started one of the 'Hard' puzzles in my 'Hand-made Sudoku Puzzles' book, and I've got stuck.

Oh, and another problem. I had to give a talk on aromatherapy and I couldn't because there was a hole in the ceiling.
